Ohio River Chapter of the Lewis & Clark Trail Heritage Foundation Dues Renewal Notice 2005 It is time once again to renew your membership in the
Ohio River Chapter. It is your dues that pay for many of the activities of the Chapter. Even
as the main focus of the Lewis and
Clark Bicentennial commemoration moves west there is still plenty of activity
on this side of the Mississippi. Many members of the Ohio River Chapter have
taken part in the commemoration actives all along the Trail all the way to
Fort Mandan in North Dakota. However, that has not diminished our interest in
the Eastern portion of the Trail. Make sure you renew your membership now, and
be a part of the Ohio River Chapter in our effort to promote the Eastern
Legacy, from Monticello in Virginia to Camp Wood River in Illinois. There is
still much to learn, much to do. Especially important to our Chapter is
helping Congress pass legislation to make the Eastern part of the Trail an
officially recognized portion of the Lewis and Clark Trail. Join in the fun
and the action, clip the coupon below, write your check and send your renewal to Brad today. There were some changes in committees in 2004, and in the
transition we have not issued a newsletter. Bear with us as we reorganize. You
should see the Newsletter early this year. A reminder: the by-laws state that in order to be a member in good
standing of the Ohio River Chapter you must be
a member of the Lewis and Clark Trail Heritage Foundation. If you are not a
member of the Foundation you can
